Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association (SLPWA) invites the greater Seneca Lake community to attend a public forum about Harmful Algae Blooms (HABs) at the Ramada Geneva Lakefront on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The program will highlight key aspects of the ecology and toxicity of blue-green algae, review measures taken to protect public health, and address the concerns surrounding the extensive outbreak of harmful algae blooms in Seneca Lake during the last two weeks of September 2017. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session at the end of the evening.
