Contact State/Federal Represenatives

Keep your elected representatives informed regarding your position on issues that effect Seneca Lake and its environmental and water quality issues.  Remember, Seneca Lake is considered to be a Federal waterway because it is connected to Lake Ontario both for navigation and drainage.  It is also connected to the New York State Barge Canal and through it to Lake Erie and the Hudson River.  As such, Seneca Lake is impacted by regulations that affect these other bodies of water and elected representatives at the local, state and federal levels should hear from residents of the Seneca Lake watershed regarding issues that concern the lake.
