Position Details

• Location: Geneva, New York
• Hours: Full-time (35–40 hours/week)
• Compensation: $28–$35/hour, based on experience
• Start Date: As soon as filled
• Application Deadline: Open until filled; applications reviewed upon receipt

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations aligned with Board priorities
• Represent the organization in community and partner events
• Lead donor and membership communications
• Coordinate volunteers and support committees
• Oversee grant applications and reporting
• Manage content creation for newsletters, website, and social media
• Support financial tracking with Board Treasurer
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders
• Executive Director candidates will also lead strategic planning and regional representation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in environmental nonprofit or related fields
• Familiarity with Seneca Lake or watershed conservation
• Strong communication, organization, and digital skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends
• Preferred: 5+ years nonprofit leadership, fundraising, grant writing, and staff supervision (for Executive Director consideration)
